Things I’m loving – True Blood, Game of Thrones, Divergent and more

Hey there! It’s been a while.

I thought I would live to blog this Summer but travelling and preparing for a wedding don’t help with the writing schedule. I’ll do an “updates and s**t” post soon.
Right now let’s get down to business and talk about something really interesting: what I’m loving this Summer.
I now none of these things are new but I wanted to tell you guys anyway.
First the TV Shows. During the regular TV time I follow a lot of shows like NCIS: LA, 90210, Grey’s Anatomy, New Girl… These usually end at the beginning of Summer so when I realized I had probably a month before the premiere of True Blood (let’s go to that later), Game of Thrones came into my life and swept me away.
Everyone had been talking about this for years but I only gave it a shot a few months ago. I ended up loving every episode and saw the three seasons in two weeks. Which got me reading the first book and I’m now very proud to say that I love Game of Thrones! It’s so well written and directed, everyone in the cast is so good and the final product is so amazingly addictive.
Last year I wouldn’t think I could like the “medieval feel” but now I’m really glad I started to watch.
If you’re not sure, just hear the opening music and you’ll now that something good is coming.
This other show was discovered in February but I’m only finishing the second season now. I’m talking about Revenge.
There’s nothing like a good conspiracy show to keep my blood flowing. Just to say that I was looking for a show like this since Prison Break ended. Michael Scofield and Emily Thorne would be a perfect couple.
I love everything about Revenge, from the perfectly styled wardrobe to the scripts that let you absorb everything until you realize you could be doing “revengy things” (Nolan is awesome) in your real life.
OK, everyone knows how much I love True Blood.
I’ve read all the books in the Southern Vampire Mysteries Series (let’s just call it an “okay ending”…) and I’ve been following the show since 2010. Last season wasn’t very exciting to me but this one has been keeping me alert just like the first ones.
To me it’s not just a show about the supernatural world. The depth of the characters and the storylines turn  this into a believable show and we almost feel like it could actually happen in the real world.
It does have really hot guys and so many sex scenes but what many people don’t understand is that there is so much more in the world of Sookie Stackhouse.

I’ve mentioned that I was reading “A game of thrones” but this Summer I also discover 4 new book series. Between The Maze Runner, Uglies and Divergent I ended up starting with the last one.
I love it like I love the Hunger Games even though they’re completely different.
The system of factions is great to discover and unravel because the author explains everything so well. It seems like we’re inside that society and it is as scary as it is fascinating.
I couldn’t go without showing you my favorite piece of clothing right now.
I’m in love with these jeans. They’re so comfortable and fun to wear.
Tell me, what have you been loving this Summer? If you want to recommend books, shows, places to visit and more, please write it in the comment section bellow.
