What I wear while my legs are moving

I don’t consider myself a true runner yet. Maybe after 5 half-marathons and 3 marathons… Or… When I actually start to make a habit out of it.

But I do love it.

That’s why I joined this month’s Runners Tell All Linkup.

To say I have favorite gear, would be assuming I have a lot of experience with it. I don’t.

One thing that I know I can’t run without is my pair of Nike Pegasus 30. Not only because I would be running barefoot but also because they’re so comfortable and I love the colors.

Aren’t they cute?

Next up is my favorite t-shirt and my favorite pair of capris.

I’m not a shorts runner. It’s just not comfortable for me but give me a pair of leggings and I’m good!
Also, this Adidas t-shirt is perfect because of its low neckline and slim fit.

Most of the things in here were gifts and you may notice a lot of black. Maybe I have a thing for black running clothes…

This sports bra may not be from a known brand but it gives so much support! I want to be the one who runs, not my two ladies in the front.

Lastly I have to have my phone with me, mostly because I can’t run without music, otherwise I’ll notice my own breath and start to lose control. With some songs, I’m relaxed.

And these were my running favorites!
Hope you enjoyed this little tour. Make sure you let me know about your favorite running gear!

Follow me through these little buttons! You won’t regret it!

Ahh, I love your entire running outfit colour theme. There's nothing like a lot of black to make a bit of colour totally pop. What fantastic pictures! I also LOVE the colour mix on your shoes – we've both dabbled in the bright green footwear scene!! *green high five*

Love the colors! I run in a lot of black as well. I am a Nike girl, but I run in the Structure. I've never checked out the Pegasus, but maybe I'll have to do some exploring. And I'm totally with you on the music. I have a hard time running without listening to something as well.

I definitely prefer tights/capris to shorts but in the summer time…pants are just way too hot. My favorite sports bra is from some random brand that I got from TJ Maxx. I love it and I'm so sad I can't read the label because I have no idea how to get more of them!

    a) the only person who is not a true runner is the one who gives up. that's what I say!
    b) I'm not a shorts person either! even in the heat of summer, I love my crops. I can almost ignore the fact that I'm wearing them, which NEVER happens with shorts for me 🙂

Stopping by from the link up! 🙂 I definitely prefer leggings/capris too, I just feel weird in shorts haha! Those shoes are awesome.. I'm trying to pick a new pair of shoes and it's so hard!

I totally understand hearing yourself breath heavy and losing control. It's like you hear yourself working hard, and your brain thinks, oh no, I'm tired! However it's important for us to pay attention to our breath also. I have found that yoga has helped so much in being aware of how I'm breathing while running without having to hear it…so I love blasted good jams too. Oldies are fun to run to!

If you run, you're a runner. At least according to my logic so you should embrace it! I totally agree with you on the trousers over shorts, I can't run in shorts either. Also I want those trainers – great colours!

I love running with music too. And your sports bra doesn't have to be a name brand. Support is what counts! Your shoes are an AWESOME color 🙂 Thanks so much for linking up! Hope you had a great weekend.

I am with you on those shoes, I loooove those colours! Name brand sports bras = meh! I need the extra support and have found that I can run just fine in sports bras that I've gotten from Walmart, Target and Old Navy – and I'm very conscious about that as that's usually the first thing I'll comment on in my mind when I see other runners that could have used a little extra support :S

I was the same with the labeling though! I was running and waiting and waiting to just LOVE it like everyone else kept talking about and so because I didn't feel like I did, I wouldn't call myself a runner. I finally realized that I would want to go for a run to relax or calm down but I still don't LOOOOVE it, and gave up and finally started admitting I was a runner – even if we were frenemies! LOL

Right! If there's anything jumping in front of people it's hard not to notice! 🙂
At the beginning is so hard to love it! The lungs burn, the legs beg us to stop… But with time it starts to get better! That's the beauty of it!

I love that all your gear somewhat matches! I normally can't run distance in shorts either because my legs will rub together for some nasty painful blisters =)

Thanks so much for linking up and for sharing your products with us.

I love those shoes!! The colors are fabulous. And I completely agree about not running in shorts – I'm a capri pants or leggings girl all the way! Makes me feel less self-conscious, and is way more comfortable once I start sweating lol.
